The Challenge: When rotating large glass sheets with a fixed operator handle, it is necessary to lift the vacuum lifter, and thus the handle, above eye level (or even higher depending on the workpiece length), which is not only user-unfriendly but also dangerous.
Our Comfort Handle is height-adjustable by up to 900 mm and can be electronically adjusted depending on the size of the sheet. The height-adjustable handle also allows for a comfortable working height in front of the operator's torso, reducing physical strain.
Effortless Lifting: The Barbaric UGL 4 with a height-adjustable comfort handle allows for effortless lifting of glass and other materials. Large and small glass sheets can be quickly and easily removed from the grinding machine – both horizontally and vertically. The vacuum lifter is versatile and is also used by our customers for the production of photovoltaic panels. This design allows the manipulation of sheets without rigid load guidance, making the entire system weight- and cost-efficient without compromising on comfort.
Compact Design for Maximum Efficiency: The specialized lifting device is suitable for flat glass of all sizes. The chain hoist is frequency inverter controlled, enabling variable speeds from 0–10 m/min. Thanks to the compact design, operators can work in close proximity to the product, facilitating movement with the lifting device and providing a clear view of the workspace.
